What should you pay attention to when buying a blender?

Power: the power of blenders ranges from approximately 200 to 2000 Watts. The higher the power of the appliance, the better they generally are at pureeing, mixing and crushing. Want to make a good smoothie? Then a blender with high power is not necessarily required.
Jug capacity: here we can distinguish 3 categories, namely: less than 1 litre, 1 to 1.5 litres or more than 1.5 litres. The question is how much you want to prepare. Glasses can typically be filled with 330 ml of juice, so you can divide the number of litres by 330 ml to calculate the number of glasses per litre.
Jug material: jugs are generally available in glass or plastic. Glass looks nicer, is less susceptible to scratches and also becomes dull less quickly. Finally, glass is also more heat resistant. Plastic jugs are cheaper, however.
Weight: pay attention to the weight of the blender. The heavier the appliance, the harder it is to lift out of the kitchen cupboard.
